wilsonville, oregon: capturing my youngest cousin and his beautifully classic bride
the days leading up to the wedding were filled with grey clouds holding that standard oregon drizzle. never one to get too worked up about the weather – wedding day turned to blue skies with not a speck of cloud. now, i know, i know. the blazing ball of sunshine high in the sky is not typically on a photographer's list of favorites but knowing we could have been rained out; i was happy just to go with it.
this was one of those location, location, location venues. barn (x2). tall fields of grasses, wildflowers and laid back-no fuss-happy people. family & friends from across the nation traveled to celebrate these two over an event-packed weekend: dinners, rehearsal, wedding, gift opening all surrounded by their most important people.
what an honor to capture it all. we've considered you years ago, but now officially, welcome to the family, amanda!
lovely bridesmaids. matching robes & sugar-sweet smiles.
she's the gal of a million and one expressions; all of them make me giggle.
the married couple. if i could, i'd insert here a whole smattering of emojis. congratulations, you two <3
